How PAWITURE handles information when you use the marketplace.

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Information We Collect

PAWITURE collects and processes personal information reasonably necessary to operate our marketplace, support independent pet-product brands, complete purchases, and provide customer service.

The information we handle depends on how you interact with PAWITURE, whether you are browsing, placing an order, communicating about a purchase, or operating a seller account.

Information provided by customers

When you place an order or request assistance, we may collect information such as:

  • Your name, email address, shipping address, and other contact or delivery information needed for your order.
  • The products you purchase, including applicable quantities and product variations.
  • Information about product prices, shipping charges, order totals, and applicable taxes.
  • Order confirmations, payment status, transaction references, and purchase history.
  • Fulfillment information, shipping carriers, tracking details, and delivery status.
  • Return requests, refunds, payment disputes, and related order records.
  • Messages or information you provide when communicating with an independent brand or PAWITURE support.

Additional information may be processed where reasonably necessary to resolve an order issue or meet an applicable legal obligation.

Seller and business information

Independent brands participating in PAWITURE provide information needed to establish and operate their seller accounts and storefronts.

This may include:

  • Seller account names, email addresses, and authentication information.
  • Business and brand names, contact details, and authorized representative information.
  • Storefront descriptions, branding, product photographs, and product listings.
  • Business information needed for marketplace administration and eligibility.
  • Payment-account onboarding and verification status.
  • Product inventory, shipping settings, fulfillment information, and order records.
  • Records of applicable seller agreements and their acceptance.

Certain information, such as an approved storefront name, logo, description, and product listings, is intended to be publicly visible.

Other information, including private account details, internal business information, and payment-related records, is handled for authorized operational purposes rather than public storefront display.

Information associated with a business or its representative may still qualify as personal information under applicable law.

Payment-related information

Payments and seller payment-account services are supported by authorized third-party financial service providers.

Payment providers may collect and process payment credentials, identity-verification information, financial-account details, and related information as necessary to provide their services.

PAWITURE does not store complete payment-card numbers.

PAWITURE may receive and maintain payment-related records necessary to operate the marketplace, such as transaction identifiers, amounts, payment status, relevant payment-account status, refunds, and dispute information.

Financial service providers may also process information under their own applicable privacy notices and legal obligations.

Communications and information you submit

We collect information you provide when you:

  • Submit a question through our Contact page.
  • Communicate with an independent brand about a purchase.
  • Request assistance with shipping, returns, refunds, or an order issue.
  • Communicate with PAWITURE about a seller account or marketplace operation.

These records help us respond to inquiries, maintain order histories, and address relevant customer-service or marketplace concerns.

Technical and website information

When you access PAWITURE, our website and necessary service providers may process technical information associated with operating, securing, and maintaining the service.

Depending on the technology involved, this may include browser or device information, IP addresses, session information, technical logs, and security-related activity.

PAWITURE uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect account access against automated abuse. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum for more information.

PAWITURE also uses cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies for necessary marketplace functions, as explained below.

  • Preventing fraud, unauthorized access, abuse, and other unlawful activity.
  • Enforcing applicable marketplace rules and contractual obligations.
  • Meeting applicable legal, tax, accounting, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements.

We use information in connection with the services requested and the marketplace operations necessary to provide them.

PAWITURE does not use order or support information for behavioral advertising.

Guest Checkout and Order Information

You do not need to create a PAWITURE account to make a purchase.

When you purchase as a guest, PAWITURE still needs to process the information required to complete and support the transaction. Guest checkout does not mean the purchase is anonymous.

Order information may be maintained so we and the relevant independent brand can:

  • Confirm the purchase and provide order records.
  • Process payment-related transaction information.
  • Prepare and ship the order.
  • Provide shipment and tracking updates.
  • Communicate about fulfillment or customer-service issues.
  • Issue relevant receipts or invoices.
  • Process appropriate refunds or address payment disputes.
  • Maintain records required for legitimate operational or legal purposes.

Customers are provided with a secure means of accessing relevant order information without creating a buyer account.

Please use an accurate email address when placing an order and take reasonable care to protect confidential order-access information.

Creating an account is not a condition for submitting an applicable privacy request.

Payments and Service Providers

PAWITURE works with third-party providers to operate the marketplace and perform services that support customer and seller transactions.

These providers may include:

  • Payment-processing and financial-account service providers.
  • Website hosting, storage, and infrastructure providers.
  • Authentication and account-service providers.
  • Transactional email and communication providers.
  • Technical security and fraud-prevention providers.
  • Other service providers reasonably necessary for marketplace administration or legal compliance.

Payment and seller payment-account providers may process relevant payment, identity, financial, and related information under their own applicable privacy notices and legal obligations.

PAWITURE receives and uses information from these services only as appropriate for marketplace operations, transaction support, security, and other legitimate purposes.

Service providers may receive personal information necessary to perform their services. The information involved depends on the service being provided and applicable contractual and legal requirements.

The use of third-party payment services does not eliminate PAWITURE's responsibilities for personal information it handles.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

PAWITURE uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to support the functioning and security of the website and marketplace.

These technologies may help with:

  • Maintaining seller authentication and authorized sessions.
  • Supporting shopping carts and checkout.
  • Providing secure access to order information.
  • Remembering relevant website or session preferences.
  • Preventing misuse and supporting marketplace security.
  • Maintaining the reliable operation of essential website features.

These technologies may store information on your device or help the website recognize a session or browser.

You can generally manage cookies and certain stored website information through your browser settings. Disabling technologies needed for essential marketplace functions may prevent some features from working properly.

We distinguish technologies needed to operate PAWITURE from technologies used for optional purposes such as advertising or behavioral tracking.

PAWITURE's use of essential website technologies does not itself authorize unrelated advertising or resale of personal information.

Where applicable law requires additional notice, consent, or privacy choices for particular technologies, those requirements apply.

How We Share Information

PAWITURE shares personal information only for relevant marketplace, transaction, service, security, business, or legal purposes.

PAWITURE does not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

The categories of recipients and the information shared depend on the transaction or service involved.

Independent brands

When you purchase from an independent brand, PAWITURE makes relevant order information available to that brand so it can prepare, fulfill, and support your purchase.

Depending on the order, this may include:

  • Your name and relevant contact information.
  • The delivery address and applicable shipping details.
  • The purchased products, quantities, and variations.
  • Order and fulfillment information.
  • Relevant customer messages and order-related requests.
  • Information necessary to address an authorized return or refund.

Independent brands are separate businesses and have their own obligations concerning the information they receive.

Under PAWITURE's marketplace requirements, brands must use customer information for legitimate order-related and permitted business purposes and protect it appropriately.

Receiving customer information through a PAWITURE purchase does not provide unrestricted permission to use that information for unrelated marketing, resale, or other unauthorized purposes.

A participating brand does not receive another brand's private customer-order information merely because both brands sell through PAWITURE.

PAWITURE remains responsible for its own handling of personal information. Independent brands remain responsible for their own processing activities to the extent required by applicable law.

Payment and other service providers

We share information with authorized payment and service providers when reasonably needed to process transactions, provide infrastructure, deliver communications, maintain security, or operate other necessary marketplace functions.

Shipping and fulfillment

The independent brand responsible for an order may share necessary delivery information with its selected carrier or fulfillment-related provider to arrange shipment and delivery.

Those parties may process delivery information in accordance with their services and applicable legal obligations.

Legal, security, and safety purposes

PAWITURE may disclose relevant information when reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law or valid legal process.
  • Respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.
  • Investigate suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, or security incidents.
  • Protect the rights, safety, and security of customers, sellers, PAWITURE, or others.
  • Address appropriate payment disputes or enforce lawful contractual rights.

Any such disclosure remains subject to applicable legal requirements.

Business transactions

Personal information may be involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality, security, and legal requirements.

This does not give PAWITURE unrestricted permission to use personal information for unrelated purposes.

Data Retention and Security

Data retention

We keep personal information for the time needed to process purchases, provide customer support, maintain marketplace security, and meet applicable legal requirements.

Retention depends on the information involved and the reason it was collected or processed.

Relevant considerations include:

  • Completing and supporting an active order.
  • Maintaining necessary purchase and fulfillment records.
  • Processing refunds, chargebacks, or payment disputes.
  • Supporting seller account administration.
  • Maintaining relevant seller contractual and acceptance records.
  • Meeting tax, accounting, regulatory, or other legal recordkeeping requirements.
  • Investigating fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • Establishing, exercising, or defending appropriate legal claims.

Information that is no longer reasonably necessary may be deleted, de-identified, or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable retention requirements.

Certain transaction and financial records may need to be retained even after an order is completed, a seller account is closed, or a deletion request is submitted.

Independent brands and service providers may also be required to retain information for their own lawful purposes and obligations.

Information security

PAWITURE uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, loss, or disclosure.

These measures include appropriate controls around account access, customer-order information, seller business information, and the services involved in processing marketplace transactions.

We also rely on relevant service providers to maintain safeguards appropriate to the information and services they handle.

No method of electronic transmission or information storage is completely secure. PAWITURE therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where an incident creates a legally required notification or other response obligation, PAWITURE will address that obligation in accordance with applicable law.

If you believe information associated with your use of PAWITURE has been improperly accessed or disclosed, please contact us.
